Big names, small price: The OÖN culture subscription invites you to enjoy art

The popular OÖN culture subscription will be relaunched in the coming 2024/25 season. The Landestheater, the Theater Phönix, the Brucknerhaus and the Posthof Linz are taking part. There are a total of 13 events to choose from, from theater to concerts, from opera to readings. This subscription is one of the few projects in which city and state institutions work together. It costs 489.20 euros – 137.50 euros less than the full price. For young culture fans up to 30 years of age, there is the U30 subscription with five freely selectable dates for 49 euros. The subscription promotes networking and exchange within the institutions, says Silke Dörner, artistic director of the Theater Phönix: “The audience can get to know a diverse range of offerings in four different venues.”

State Theatre: The new theater director David Bösch will introduce himself with William Shakespeare’s comedy “Much Ado About Nothing” (October 23, 7:30 p.m., Schauspielhaus).
