The mini-series Big Little Lies premieres in Los Angeles. Actresses Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Shailene Woodley play three mothers whose lives are turned upside down.
Stuttgart – The series “Big Little Lies” by the American TV channel HBO celebrates its premiere in Los Angeles.
The seven-episode mini-series is regarding three Australian mothers who live what seems like a dream life by the sea. In the lives of Madeline (Reese Witherspoon), Celeste (Nicole Kidman) and Jane (Shailene Woodley), however, there is plenty of room for tragedy. Jane doesn’t feel welcome in her new neighborhood, the divorced Madeline worries regarding her eldest daughter, and Celeste finally seeks career advancement. Their lives are turned upside down when the three mothers are involved in a murder.
Actresses Laura Dern, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Zoe Kravitz and Reese Witherspoon attended the premiere. In Germany, the series starts on February 19th. at the pay channel Sky.
