The roguelike “Cult of the Lamb” from Massive Monster has not found its end yet! Next year, a major content update is set to add further excitement.
Devolver Digital and Massive Monster were able to deliver one of the biggest indie hits of the year in 2022 with the cult roguelike “Cult of the Lamb”. And some of you may already have fully developed your own cult. But don’t despair! Because the developers have announced that more content is on the way – and it’s free!
Many desired features!
Massive Monster has confirmed just before the turn of the year that they will release a “major” content update for “Cult of the Lamb” in 2023. Both profound and quality-of-life changes are said to be on board, while also addressing difficulty and accessibility options. A new heavy attack should also be brought into play.
Most importantly, the developers promise to add features that many players have been asking for. So far, they have not wanted to go into detail, which is why only small teasers regarding the innovations have been provided. A specific release date has not yet been announced.
Cult of the Lamb was released last August for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The game garnered an 84 critics’ average and even earned a nomination for Best Indie Game at this year’s Game Awards.
