The new Android 14 Beta 3 is finally stable. With it, we discover a number of particularly interesting features. One of the major changes in this update is the ability to customize your screen, a possibility that has really been pushed to its climax.
The main novelty of this update concerns the lock screen. First of all, it will be possible to customize the clock. Seven different styles of clock will thus be accessible to the user, and it will be possible to personalize them further by changing colors and fonts.

However, this change will unfortunately be accompanied by a loss of contrast which can make it harder to distinguish between icons. It is a personal aesthetic choice that can have its advantages but also its disadvantages.
In addition, it will also be possible to change the font and the size of the texts displayed on the screen. This is an accessibility feature that will be particularly welcome and one wonders why it was not available before.
Finally, another novelty that will appear is navigation by gestures. This is a particularly nice feature, as it allows buttons to be removed, but requires a bit of getting used to.
As you can see, it will be possible to completely customize your screen with Android 14, and since this is a stable beta, we should expect these changes to remain final.
