“I understand why they didn’t want to hear it,” he added. “But he[Putin]got in.”
“I know a lot of people thought I was exaggerating the situation,” Biden said.
In fact, U.S. intelligence officials warned of an invasion earlier this year following Russia concentrated its forces around the Ukrainian border at the end of last year under the pretext of training. In fact, on February 24, Russia attacked Ukraine.
The AFP reported that the US warning of a Russian invasion was met with distrust and even the European allies were subtly critical of the US as creating too much unrest.
