US President Joe Biden said more than 30 countries have agreed to participate in the release of oil stockpiles, and expressed his will to stabilize international oil prices.
In a speech at the White House on Monday, President Biden said more than 30 countries around the world have agreed to release tens of millions of barrels to market as a result of coordinating the release of oil reserves with partners and allies around the world.
“Hundreds of hours of meetings, while maintaining unity with our key allies, are paying off,” he said.
