The Israeli TV channel “13” reported that the US President, joe bideninformed the Prime Minister of the occupation, Yair Lapid, that the United States is giving Israel a margin of freedom to act once morest Iran following signing a revival nuclear deal.
In a report broadcast last night, the channel indicated that Biden committed during his phone call with Lapid yesterday to give Israel a margin of freedom to continue its operations once morest Iran, pointing out that the commitment came in the wake of Lapid’s assertion that Israel would reserve the right to work once morest the Iranian nuclear project, whether the agreement was reached. Whether or not a nuclear deal is reached.
The channel indicated that the United States had previously given Israel a margin of freedom to act once morest Iran during the “Jerusalem Declaration”, which was signed by Lapid and Biden during the latter’s visit to Israel regarding two months ago.
In this context, the channel indicated that official Israeli circles are optimistic because of the wide gap in attitudes between Iran and the United States, with regard to the terms and conditions of Washington’s return to the nuclear agreement signed in 2015.
The channel attributed the Israeli optimism to the recent statements of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, in which he confirmed that no agreement will be signed if the investigation files once morest Tehran at the International Atomic Energy Agency are not closed, noting that Washington and Tel Aviv refuse to close those files.
The channel added that if Israel expects that the agreement will be reached within days, it is now talking regarding “a longer period that may extend to weeks.”
And the former head of the Israeli intelligence service, “Mossad,” Yossi Cohen, confirmed last week that the agency under his command carried out many operations deep inside Iran with the aim of thwarting its nuclear program.
