Cuban Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and Matt Chapman also homered for the Blue Jays. José Berríos allowed two runs in just over seven innings of work and Adam Cimber (4-0) got three outs to reach four wins, the most in the Major Leagues and help Toronto add its fifth win in recent six matches.
Boston has lost three straight and five of the last six. The Red Sox have scored two runs or fewer in those five setbacks.
Bichette broke a 2-2 tie with a two-out drive to right off right-hander Tyler Danish, who came on in relief of losing Matt Strahm (1-1). It was Bichette’s second home run of the season.
Gurriel led off the fifth inning with his second home run of the season and Chapman made it 2-0 with a drive to center field in the seventh. Both homers came off starter Nathan Eovaldi, who allowed two runs and five hits in seven innings on the mound.
