According to BIAF2024, advance registration for academic forums and job seminars can be done on the Academic Forum and Job Seminar advance registration page in the Animation Content Market on the BIAF homepage.
The academic forum will be held under the theme of ‘Animation Leaping into the World: Seeking Strategic Promotional Measures for International Animation Film Festivals’ with the aim of drawing up a blueprint for film festivals and festivals from a citizen-friendly perspective based on an academic approach to animation.
Presenters from the Hangzhou International Cartoon and Animation Festival (CICAF), the Ottawa International Animation and Film Festival (OIAF), critics, and entertainment industry experts will participate, and in-depth lectures will be held in four sessions through simultaneous offline and online broadcasts in Room 201, 2nd floor, Webtoon Convergence Center from 11:00 to 1:00 PM on October 26.
The Job Seminar was prepared by Meta (formerly Facebook) music engineer Kwak Su-jeong, with the theme of ‘The Future of Music from a Technical Perspective’, where she shares information and know-how on job training and employment.
The job seminar will be held offline on October 26th at 4 PM in room 201 on the 2nd floor of the Webtoon Convergence Center.
BIAF2024, a film festival where you can enjoy watching animations, will be held in Bucheon City for 5 days from October 25th to 29th.
