While we expected more, the Arlesian from Ubisoft is talking regarding her once more today. Beyond Good & Evil 2 would still be relevant for the French studio, which would even soon offer an external test phase in order to have a new look at their blockbuster.
In Search of Lost Time
We no longer count the years of development of Beyond Good & Evil 2 ! Ubisoft’s game, presented as the very first quadruple A in the history of video games, has had a chaotic journey to say the least. Since its presentation at E3, the game has been very discreet from 2020 as it met many difficulties.
If the project has always been expressly confirmed by Yves Guillemot, the president of Ubisoft, it must be admitted that the fan community does not have much to eat at the moment. A situation which might nevertheless change according to Tom Henderson. According to the journalist, Beyond Good & Evil 2 should soon be talked regarding once more.
Back because we’re coming back
Not long ago, Ubisoft mentioned the name of its software in order to answer an investor’s question. The latter asked what were the next projects of the studio. Ubisoft then responded by listing several of its upcoming games.
This information is confidential until the games are officially released to the gaming community. Previously known games include: Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Skull and Bones, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Roller Champions, Star Wars, Beyond Good & Evil 2, Prince of Persia Remakes: The Sands of Time, and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell.
There are also several projects for our different brands, including Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, Tom Clancy’s The Division, as well as our investments in free to play such as XDefiant, Rainbow Six Mobile, The Division Mobile, The Division Heartland, and Ghost Recon Frontline. As previously stated, Ubisoft can boast of having the richest list of projects in its history for the coming years.
We therefore note a nice list of games to come, dont Beyond Good & Evil 2 ! But more than just a mention, Tom Henderson specifies that Ubisoft would like to submit its blockbuster to an external test phase very soon.
According to the journalist, Ubisoft would also plan to organize more intensive tests than usual, namely one session per week, and which would begin this month. So for the moment, it’s impossible to know what progress Beyond Good & Evil 2 is in. We obviously hope that the game is on the right path, and this information has the merit of reassuring us.
