Beyond Good & Evil 2 is therefore still alive. And, it might even be that Ubisoft even has a few projects for him, starting this month of July.
It’s been a while since it was announced Beyond Good & Evil 2. And for good reason, the first timeUbisoft mentioned it was in 2008. Since this first announcement, the long-awaited title has shown very little, so many of you no longer really believe in its existence or fear the result during a possible release, especially since the announcement of the departure of Michel Ancel. But first he would have to come out, wouldn’t he? Which should most likely be expected. Like, we announced it all recently the project is still standing. Something that now seems to be confirmed by new elements.
External playtests planned?
As one mentions article de Tom Henderson, Ubisoft recently had a meeting with its investors. During this, the company was able to give an idea of the titles it had at its disposal and its upcoming projects. And among them is Beyond Good & Evil 2 which obviously commands attention. By mentioning it, Ubisoft is apparently giving further proof of its existence.
Besides, Tom Henderson went a step further and dug a little deeper into his sources to learn more. And so, according to the information he dug up, Beyond Good and Evil 2 would indeed be in development. What stage is it at? Difficult to say, he had no information on the progress of production. However, he is not without affirming the following thing: the title might very soon be talked regarding once more, in particular to offer external playtests which should not take place on a weekly basis, as usual with Ubisoft, but will be more extensive.
So, true or not? Even if the leaker is deemed reliable, we will therefore wait to see.
