D-day for Beyoncé this Friday March 29 with the release of her new album, “Cowboy Carter”, act II of her “Renaissance” series. After trying her hand at electronic music, Queen B. is now embarking on another adventure with 26 country music tracks, the names of which she has just revealed.

It’s released this Friday. Almost two years after “Renaissance”, carried by hits like “Break My Soul” and Cuff It”, Beyoncé is back this March 29. With “Cowboy Carter”, the American singer has already created the event with the first two singles, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages”, ushering in a new country-infused era. She even became “the first black woman to reach number one on the country charts”. While it is almost time to finally discover this new album, Beyoncé reveals its tracklist, 26 tracks long. “American Requiem”, “Desert Eagle” or even “Oh Louisiana”, she spoils us and even offers the presence of two great stars of the genre.

She had promised prestigious guests. It’s done: on the track “Smoke Hour”, Beyoncé is accompanied by Texan artist Willie Nelson. She will also be alongside Dolly Parton for a cover of her flagship song “Jolene”. Enough to make your mouth water a few hours before its release. “My hope is that within a few years, the mention of an artist’s skin color, linked to any genre of music, will no longer be relevant,” the “Halo” singer recently declared. I work on this album for five years. It came about after an experience I had years ago where I didn’t feel welcomed. But, because of that experience, I was able to delve deeply into the country music history to study our rich musical history”. She concludes: “It’s not a country album, it’s a Beyoncé album! It’s Act II ‘Cowboy Carter’ and I’m proud to share it with everyone.”
