Amid futuristic decor, huge costumes, and in front of a very harmonious audience, American star Beyoncé revived a big show in Stockholm, the day before yesterday, initiating a wide solo concert tour that is her first in seven years, and will last four months.

For more than three hours, “Queen B” presented a show with many distinct scenes, for example, appearing on a lunar chariot or on a diamond horse that flew over the audience, or appeared as a television news anchor, in a concert that is the first in a tour titled “Renaissance World Tour”. Its revenue is expected to exceed two billion dollars.

“I am speechless, it was an amazing and extraordinary show,” said Shane Parkey, 31, an Irish radio presenter.

And the young woman noted upon leaving the party that “Beyoncé had not promoted her album in advance, so there was a great deal of anticipation for what she would present.”

The concert in Stockholm was attended by many fans from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, including a large number of the United States and Brazil, to be the first to enjoy the huge show, one of the most important artistic events expected during the current year.

And Beyoncé addressed the crowd gathered in the stadium, which was estimated at regarding 60,000: “I just want to tell you: you make me very happy.”

“I see familiar faces of people who traveled from a very long distance to see the premiere tonight,” she said, to cheers from the crowd.

Abdel Ibrahim, 30, who came from London and has tickets for the star’s concerts in London, Barcelona and Miami, commented: “I have seen Beyoncé since her first concert, and she is performing once more at a very high level. It’s amazing.”

Hours before the former Destiny’s Child singer made her debut at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, hundreds of fans eager to see her passed the long hours singing and dancing in the queues, donning cowboy hats and rhinestones that made up their star’s new outfit.

“She’s the queen, and that’s why we’re here,” said Kesher Blum, 36, from Riga (Latvia).

The tour was announced last February, and it is Beyoncé Knowles’ first solo concert set since 2016, as the “Covid-19” pandemic has long prevented mass concerts.

Brazilian Gabriel Cardel (27 years), who came specially to Stockholm, noted that “Beyoncé has not sung for a long time, and this is her first concert.” And due to the great demand for attending the concert in the Swedish capital, a second one was added on Thursday, before the star appeared this weekend in Brussels.

As for France, it will give one concert in Paris on May 26, and then in Marseille on June 11. The tour so far includes 57 concerts in regarding 40 cities.

And last February, Beyoncé entered the history of the Grammy Awards, the musical equivalent of the Oscars, when she became the most winning artist ever, breaking the number of the famous orchestra conductor, George Schulte.

Yet once more, the wife of rapper Jay-Z failed to win the award for best album.
