Beyonce announced a new album. In a commercial during the Super Bowl

Beyoncé has no intention of slowing down. Just a few months after the end of the world tour, the artist announced the premiere of a new album. She did it on the occasion of this year’s Super Bowl.

Beyoncé’s last studio album, “Renaissance”, was released in mid-2022. It was the first solo album since “Lemonade” from 2016, so probably few people expected that Beyoncé would release new material in 2024. Especially since the artist was on tour for almost all of 2023.

However, nothing could be further from the truth. Beyoncé already has the material ready and has set a release date. The album is to be a continuation of the “Renaissance” project. There are many indications that this time it will be in a country style. The singer was born in Texas and often refers to the culture of this place in her work.

The artist combined the announcement of the album with her participation in a commercial that was broadcast during this year’s Super Bowl. This is the best and most expensive airtime. 30-second spots cost millions of dollars.

Beyoncé appeared in an advertising spot for the mobile network operator Verizon, where she unsuccessfully tried to find a way to disconnect the 5G network connection. The advertisement ended with an eloquent summary that it was time for something completely new, and a moment later a video announcing the album and two songs appeared on the Internet: “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” and “16 CARRIAGES”.

The premiere of Beyoncé’s new album will take place on March 29, 2024.
