Qatar: The Ministry of Public Health of Qatar has warned against using teff flour crackers manufactured in Spain. The ministry has warned consumers against buying Spanish-made teff flour cracker biscuits with expiry dates of July 30, October 17 and October 27, 2023.
Ministry also warns against Schalr Knusperprot Dunkel crackers with expiry date of 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th April 2024. A warning has been issued to companies that manufacture in Spain. The ministry has issued a warning because it suspects the possibility of excessive atropine and scopolamine in the biscuits.

The ministry also stated that it has received warnings about products such as the European Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed. The ministry has issued a circular asking the suppliers to take back these products and withdraw them from the market immediately. The ministry has instructed customers who have kept the products to return them.
