Beware, including silk fabrics, things in the house that should not be cleaned with water

Follow up – Loujain Ismail:

Water contributes to washing, cleaning and maintaining things. But that does not mean that we use it for everything. Find things in the house that should not be cleaned with water. It causes damage and loss.

wooden floors

The water seeps under the wood, causing it to swell and turn black. Also wooden tools, as cleaning them with water can cause discoloration and cracking.

Silver

It leads to more stains, and silver polish is the best thing you can use.

contact lenses

Solutions used to clean contact lenses contain antimicrobial agents. And when soaked in water, this leads to the multiplication of bacteria and fungi.

leather

Use can result in streaks and cracks, so clean it with a soft cloth to get rid of dust. Then wipe it with a cloth dampened with a skin-safe moisturizing soap. And then it is polished well without washing it with water.

Brick and marble

These surfaces are porous, so cleaning them with a little water can damage them by eroding their protective layers.

Silk fabrics and clothing

Silk is a delicate fabric that cannot be washed with water so as not to lead to the appearance of streaks and stains. So clean it gently with a soft brush to get rid of dirt and dirt accumulated on it. Then use a gentle soap designed for silk when washing and drying them.
