Were you fans of the Beverly Hills series in the 90s? Ian Ziering, who played Steve Sanders announced sad news this Thursday on his Instagram account. After the deaths of Jessica Klein, one of the writers and producers of the hit series, and the passing of the high school principal, Mrs. Teasley played by Denise Dowse, it is now Joe E. Tata, best known for playing Nat Bussichio, the boss of the Peach Pitt who has died. Ian Ziering said on social media that the 85-year-old actor died following a four-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Ian Ziering paid a moving tribute to the actor: “One of the happiest people I have ever worked with, he was as generous with his wisdom as he was his kindness. Although the Peach Pitt was a setting in the series, it often looked like the backdrop of Joe E. Tata” show, remembers the actor.

The other actors of the series also paid tribute to him. Jennie Garth, who played Kelly Taylor, wrote: “I will always remember that mischievous, loving smile and laughter. Tori Spelling, aka Donna Martin, highlighted the actor’s unique personality in her final tribute to someone she also considered a friend: “One of the kindest, funniest, most professional and amazing humans I have had the pleasure of working with and more importantly being friends with all my life. “I never saw him without a big smile on his face. His humor was uniquely Joe and his delivery was always spot on. He kept us going. He made the long days at work short. He was the ultimate professional.”
Jason Priestley who played Brandon Walsh and who worked in the series in the famous fast food restaurant run by Joe E. Tata confided on social networks that they had remained very close following the filming of the series. “Today we lost my dear friend and my TV boss Joe E. Tata. Nat Busiccio had a big role in the series Beverly Hills, and Joe was part of my life. (…) He didn’t there will be more like you…”
