The provinces of Entre Ríos, Catamarca and Santa Cruz will have gubernatorial elections simultaneously with tomorrow’s national election. In the first two there will be STEP, but in the case of the Patagonian province the general election will be held with the questioned system of slogans.
In Entre Ríos Together for Change, he is expectant and intends to wrest the province from Peronism. The candidate is Rogelio Frigerio, who has the support of both Horacio Rodríguez Larreta and Patricia Bullrich. The former Minister of the Interior has a STEP once morest Pedro Galimberti, from the UCR but who plays with a short ticket, without being attached to any national ticket. Frigerio is expected to win smoothly.
Meanwhile, Peronism goes with Adán Bahl, mayor of Paraná as a candidate. The communal chief will seek to revalidate in the province that Gustavo Bordet governs today. In the midterm elections JxC has been prevailing, but in the executive elections Peronism managed to prevail. In this context, JxC understands that it has a chance to win knowing the difficulties of national management.
In Catamarca the Peronist Raúl Jalil is going for a new mandate while JxC will have STEP between Rubén Manzi (aligned with Larreta) and Flavio Fama of the UCR with Bullrich. In the preview, Jalil is the favourite.
Santa Cruz will not have among the options Alicia Kirchner, who is going for a seat in the Senate. Peronism will have three sublemmas headed by Javier Belloni, Pablo Grasso and Guillermo Polke. The opposition is divided: a sector remained in Cambia Santa Cruz, with Roxana Reyes and Mirei Zeidán as candidates. In the motto “Santa Cruz” there are six sub-mottos. The journalist Mario Markic, the ex-governor Sergio Acevedo and the trade unionist Claudio Vidal, are three of them.
