Easter is approaching and we are all curious to know what the weather awaits us. Colonel Mario Giuliacci, despite having explained that we will have to wait a few more days to have greater certainty, has released the latest forecasts. In a video published on the YouTube channel of meteogiuliacci.itthe famous atmospheric physicist anticipated that we will have to deal with “two rainy phases”: one clearer and one more contained.
“Two rainy phases: the first between Tuesday 26th and Thursday 28th due to the arrival of 3 intense disturbances, preceded by strong sirocco winds on the Adriatic and strong south-westerly winds on the Tyrrhenian Sea. Rain throughout Italy up to accumulations of 30/40 millimeters in the Tyrrhenian regions. Snowfall in the Alps above 1400 metres”, he explained. Another disturbed phase is expected, “but much more moderate between Saturday 30th and Monday 1st April”. It will be “less intense and might however affect all of Northern Italy, except Emilia-Romagna and western Liguria”.
Then the answer to the most popular question. The meteorologist stated that “between Easter and Easter Monday” there will be “good weather in the southern regions”. “There might be snowfall in the Alps, at altitudes above 1000 metres. The temperatures expected in the next few days will be falling, by 5/6 degrees in the North, 3/4 degrees in the South, but then sharply rising throughout Italy between Friday 29th and Saturday 30th”, added Giuliacci.
