Just hours following the tour was announced The Celebration Tour by Madonna, lucky members of her official fan club have already gotten their hands on some coveted tickets (during a presale that continues until tomorrow 5 p.m.). By paying $500 per person, Marie-Claude, a big fan of the Material Girl, obtained two seats for the August 19 show at the Bell Center.

On her Facebook page, Marie-Claude proudly displays her ticket for the Madonna show on August 19 at the Bell Centre. A member of the fan club for at least ten years, she had access to the presale and its possible – and quite expensive – packages allowing her to obtain tickets from the Madonna site, before the official sale on Friday. , 10 a.m.
She paid $500 per person (she bought two and will be going to the concert with her best friend who is also a huge Madonna fan) for what she considers “really good tickets in a good row.”
“I took one of the cheapest packages,” said the 50-year-old fan. My friend spent $1100 per person plus tax and is really close to me. I consider that I have the best tickets for the price.”
Marie-Claude believes that ticket prices will be around $350-375 when they go on sale, but predicts that such tickets will sell out very quickly. “In fact, the sinews of war is above all to have access to tickets, she believes. Even in presale, I believe that there will be no more tickets offered tomorrow. If we take the example of Depeche Mode, we remember that everything happened very quickly.
“It’s much more difficult than before to have access to tickets, continues the one who has seen Madonna perform countless times over the years. Since I made my Facebook post, I have received a ton of messages from people asking how I managed to access the tickets.
“People are looking for tickets between $350 and $500, that’s what becomes difficult and makes the noose tighten. Expect to pay $375 or more,” she says. There are a few $85 tickets, but these have blocked views, which isn’t very interesting for true fans of the diva.
“I am a real fan, for me she is an icon, continues Marie-Claude. I’ve seen all of his shows, all over the United States. I saw her on the Plains of Abraham, in Miami, Boston, New York and Chicago, but in Montreal, it’s special, the artists like to be in Montreal, because people are more participative. Usually I went to see her two or three times per tour. Last time I paid $350 per ticket so with inflation it’s not that bad this time I think.”
American Express cardholders in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal also have access to a presale starting from January 18 at 10 a.m. to January 19 at 6 p.m.
“Regular” fans can also purchase VIP packages for the August 19 show in Montreal on the site vipnation.com
These VIP packages (for non-fanclub members) range between $595-$2502.
“Legacy” members, i.e. members of the Madonna fan club from the very beginning (Marie-Claude has been a member of the fan club for 10 years and is not part of it!) have access to even more packages.
Evenko has not yet responded to the request of the Journal regarding official ticket prices The Celebration Tour by Madonna, which will go on sale this Friday, January 20 at 10 a.m.
