That’s it, Better Call Saul, it’s over. And with it, it seems the Breaking Bad universe that encompasses it has also come to an end, or at least for a while. The opportunity for Aaron Paul to bid farewell (final) to the character of Jesse Pinkman.

It’s over, yo

Last Tuesday ended season 6 of Better Call Saul and with it, the entire series. A grand finale hailed by many, many viewers who believe that the saga is at least on the same level as Breaking Bad (if not more) and which above all makes it possible to perfectly complete the universe.

It’s a page that turns… as well as for some actors who prefer to be frank with their fans, like Aaron Paul: the actor was revealed with his character of Jesse Pinkmanone of the two title roles of Breaking Bad, but is now ready to give up his character for good.

No more Breaking Bad?

It’s no secret, but Jesse Pinkman made a few appearances on Season 6 of Better Call Saul. A nice nod to the community, but also a way of drawing a line under the role as admitted by his interpreter.

Jesse Pinkman will forever have a special place in my heart, but I can say with certainty that Better Call Saul marks his very last appearance. It was a nice way to say goodbye to him.

A priori therefore, we will no longer have to deal with Pinkman in the future. Moreover, we are not sure to be dealing with the Breaking Bad universe as its co-creator Vince Gilligan has admitted to turning now to other projects, dissociated from his baby and Better Call Saul (including it is also the origin).

At least Jesse Pinkman is now immortal and not only through the small screen : a statue of him and Walter White was unveiled a few days ago in Albuquerque. Just that.
