The first date of the semifinal home runs of the Betplay-1 League, which took place over the weekend, showed three draws and one win.

Independiente Medellín drew 2-2 with Millonarios, Chicó 1-1 with América and Pasto 1-1 with Nacional. The only team that added the three points was Alianza Petrolera, this Monday at home following beating Águilas Doradas 5-3.

The scoring festival revealed the defensive deficiencies in the visiting team, which reached this stage preceded by a great campaign. The errors in the stopped ball, assured Marco Pérez, was the cause of the adverse result in “a difficult court and a strong climate” that left them dizzys.

Águilas won 2-0 with Marco Pérez double (goals at 21 and 30 minutes) and ratified why he had been first in the group stage, but at 36′ he allowed Steven “Titi” Rodríguez to discount. That goal restored Alianza Petrolera’s faith at the Daniel Villa Zapata stadium in Barrancabermeja.

Although the Paisa team was the winner at halftime, those coached by Hubert Bodhert returned to the field with more impetus and they turned the score around with scores from Luciano Ospina (63′) and Pablo Bueno (65′).

The golds did not look good and yet they managed to equalize (3-3) with Jean Pineda (79′). When it was thought that Águilas would bring at least one point from their visit to that hot city, the 4-3 came through Pablo Bueno (81′) who also celebrated his double, by taking advantage of the rival’s blinks.

In replacement time (90+5) Alianza scored the fifth goal with Royscer Rafael Colpa and became the leader of their group. The next date will begin on Saturday with Águilas-Pasto (6:05 pm) and Millonarios-Chicó (8:15 pm) and will continue on Sunday with Nacional-Alianza and América-DIM at the same times
