It’s been a while since the announcement of the Indiana Jones game from Bethesda. However, an ongoing hearing has confirmed more details regarding the title.
As part of the ongoing FTC hearing regarding Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, Bethesda Softworks chief publishing officer Pete Hines has confirmed that the upcoming Indiana Jones game will be exclusive to Xbox on consoles and will be coming to PC, as reported Eurogamer.
It was also stated that a multi-console deal was in place, but this was changed following Microsoft’s acquisition of the company in 2021.
Given Indiana Jones’ penchant for salvaging ancient artifacts, the now Xbox-exclusive might rival PlayStation’s Unch franchise, but with no idea what the gameplay is, it’s probably too early to say for sure.
The announcement comes ahead of the recent return of LEGO Indiana Jones as we approach the fifth film’s release day on June 28, 2023. It has yet to be confirmed when we can expect to see the game, so it may take a few years at the time of writing.
Three Indiana Jones LEGO models are now available ready for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny next week.
