Bethesda Softworks will stop supporting its own game launcher on PC in 2022. Representatives of the company announced this in a blog on the official website.
In April 2022, Bethesda.net users can transfer all their games and wallet to Steam. In addition to the titles themselves, gamers will be able to save all the progress, however, for some games, saves will have to be transferred manually. In addition, the friends list in games like Doom Eternal, Fallout 76, Deathloop, The Elder Scrolls: Legends and others will remain unchanged following the transfer.
Despite the closure of the launcher, Bethesda will continue to support all of its own services. Gamers will be able to use Bethesda.net accounts to log into the site and log in to existing and future games from the studio.
