Beterbiev’s promoter announced the possibility of a fight with Bivol in the summer

Top Rank Vice President Carl Moretti declared “Match TV” that the next fight of the WBC, IBF and WBO light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev is scheduled for the summer, and negotiations are still underway on the opponent.
“Beterbiev’s next fight will probably take place in July-August. Callum Smith may be the next opponent, but the option of a duel with Dmitry Bivol is also possible, work continues on this fight, ”said Moretti.
Bivol, the WBA super light heavyweight champion, said on April 2 that his goal is a unification bout this year. “I told my team that I want to meet Beterbiev in the next fight,” quotes Buffalo The Ring.

Beterbiev is 38 years old, in his last fight on January 28, he defeated British Anthony Yarde by knockout.
Bivol, 32, defeated Mexico’s Gilberto Ramirez by unanimous decision last November.
Both boxers have not lost a single fight so far – Bivol has 21 wins, Beterbiev has 19.
