Expat Insider 2022 Report
In the Expat Insider 2022 report by the German research firm Internations, the UAE has achieved the best position in four key areas and 11 key indicators related to this. Achieving good results in 4 out of 5 areas and 11 out of 17 indicators is considered significant. The ranking among the nations of the world was prepared on the basis of quality of life of expatriates, ease of arrival and residence, facilities for working abroad, personal finance and availability of essential infrastructure.
Ahead in terms of life safety
94 percent of those surveyed said they felt safe in the UAE. The global average in this regard is 81 percent. Similarly, in terms of excellence of government services in the UAE, 86 percent was obtained. The global average in this regard is only 25 percent. In terms of digital payment facilities, 90 per cent chose it in the UAE, while globally only 84 per cent said they experienced this facility.
Getting healthcare services in UAE is easy
78 percent of UAE residents are satisfied with the ease of access to healthcare services. But the global average in this regard is 64 percent. 79 per cent of expatriates living in the UAE said there is a chance of advancement in their careers, compared to only 65 per cent globally. UAE is also preferred by expatriates in terms of ease of using the language.
Even if you don’t know Arabic, there is no barrier to communication
85 percent said that they don’t want to use Arabic, the national language of the UAE, and that even if they don’t know Arabic, they don’t face any obstacles in communication in the country. But globally, only 51 percent of people are of this opinion. The UAE is also in good shape when it comes to administrative procedures in the country. While the global average in this regard is 54 percent, it is 83 percent in the UAE. 75 percent said it was easy to find accommodation in the UAE. The global average in this regard is 54 percent. UAE is also leading in obtaining residence visa. 83 percent of the respondents were of this opinion. In this regard, the international average is only 56 percent, according to the report of Internationals.
