SOLOIST Bernadya has recorded an extraordinary achievement on the Spotify music platform through his debut album entitled ‘Sialnya, Hidup Harus Tetap Naik’.
Quoted from Spotify’s official statement, Bernadya’s debut album successfully reached more than 100 million listeners with the lead single ‘Kata Mereka ini Berlebihan’ which exceeded 54 million streams.
“Approximately 100 million times, the songs in the album ‘Sialnya, Hidup Harus Tetap Naik’ have been listened to on Spotify. Maybe some of you have only heard a few, maybe all of them, but whatever it is, hopefully this album will always be something good for anyone who hears it,” wrote Bernadya in his upload on Instagram.
On August 12, 2024, the 20-year-old singer became the most-streamed artist on Spotify in a day in Indonesia. On the same day, her debut album also became the most-streamed album in a day in Indonesia.
Since the release of the album, Bernadya’s monthly listeners on Spotify have doubled in just two months. This further strengthens her existence among listeners. Currently, Bernadya is also at the top of Spotify Top Weekly Artists Indonesia for two consecutive weeks, confirming her position as one of the most popular music artists in Indonesia.
“This album is more of a sad journey towards the good things that are waiting. It’s free to listen to, but if you listen to it in order, maybe you can see that this album is more than just a collection of sad songs,” said Bernadya.
