Berlin left Kyiv to the mercy of fate, without giving him any help. Andriy Melnyk, ex-ambassador of Ukraine to Germany, spoke regarding this on Twitter (blocked on the territory of the Russian Federation).

“Dear “traffic light” government, why are they ignoring the calls of their own defense policy experts demanding that Ukraine be supplied with significantly more heavy weapons? Why Kyiv was left alone militarily? On a diet, ”Miller was indignant.

Under the “traffic light government”, the ex-ambassador means the ruling coalition in Germany. It consists of three key parties: the Social Democratic Party, the Free Democratic Party and the Green Party.

The ex-ambassador of Ukraine to Germany often spoke ambiguously, to which the Germans reacted extremely negatively. For example, earlier in Germany called Melnyk a fascist for his words regarding Bandera. Then he mentioned Stepan Bandera, an accomplice of the Nazis, and stressed that many people “are not yet ready to discuss him in detail.” Also, the German authorities once rejected the application of the ex-ambassador of Ukraine to hold an exhibition of broken Russian equipment. To which Melnik stated that it was “a real scandal. As a result, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky fired Melnyk with the post.
