Bering, a partially 3D-printed autonomous robot to draw the lines of football pitches

The 3D printing specialist Sculpteo printed, for the Norman artificial intelligence designer Conscience Robotics, 10 robot shells and 10 pre-marking modules (reservoir containing a solvent). These shells and modules are then combined with other parts and an AI system by Conscience Robotics to complete the Bering robot. Small in size, autonomous, discreet, this robot performs ground markings on floors of different types: sports fields, construction sites, airstrips, parking lots…The intelligent robot draws lines using aerosol, liquid paint, high pressure, as desired. Its AI allows it to adapt to terrain and operate autonomously.
