A lot can happen in a year. Twelve months ago, the Bergschlössl on Froschberg in Linz was still more of a construction site, but now it is not only a feast for the eyes, but also quite lively once more. This is thanks to managing director Martin Siebermair and his team, who celebrated the first year of the “city’s best-known insider tip” with a small party in the park of the historic building. Mayor Klaus Luger, like many entrepreneurs, customers and friends, did not miss the opportunity to toast the first successful year in the new, old Bergschlössl.
There was a certain amount of pride in Martin Siebermair’s voice as he briefly looked back and pointed to the many goals he had already achieved. The Bergschlössl has already earned a good reputation as a center of excellence in the field of health and therapy and is being expanded with additional doctors and therapists.
Many events
It has already established itself as a place for culture and events. “It is impressive what we have achieved here together with our partners and supporters in the last twelve months,” said Siebermair. From the wedding fair to the crime dinner with bestselling author Martin Walker, the Schlössl has already experienced a lot. To be continued.
Further culinary and cultural events are already being planned for autumn and winter, and the self-developed talk series “Gesprächsstoff” will also attract new guests to the Bergschlössl. On October 2nd, for example, book author Rudi Anschober will be a guest.
A heart for heart children
But in moments of joy, you can also give joy. In keeping with this motto, Siebermair presented a donation check for a symbolic 2024 euros to Michaela Altendorfer, President of Herzkinder Österreich. The Bergschlössl managing director is an ambassador for the organization – even though, in his own words, he would not be cut out to be a diplomat.
He is a very good host. The one-year celebration will end with a joint public viewing. The Bergschlössl has also enjoyed a good turnout as a real insider tip during the European Football Championship. The final of the European Championship will take place on Sunday.
