The National Oil Company (ENAP) reported during the day on Wednesday, March 2, that gasoline and fuels will suffer a new rise of 6.7 pesos per liter ($/lt.).
According to the company, 93 and 97 octane gasoline will rise $6.7 per liter, the same increase as diesel.
Meanwhile, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for vehicular use will also have an increase of $6.7 per liter.

According to the state company, this variation is part of the import parity price rule, the Fuel Price Stabilization Mechanism (Mepco), the Oil Price Stabilization Fund (FEEP) and the mechanisms established by the authority.
“ENAP does not regulate or set fuel prices in the Chilean market. Its role is solely that of wholesale marketer of the different hydrocarbon derivatives to the distribution companies”, they point out.
