With 64.8 million followers on Instagram, Karim Benzema is the second French player with the most subscribers on this platform, behind Kylian Mbappé and his 96.2 million fans. The authors of the subject, on the basis of the credibility tool of the social network of images Modash, estimate a quarter of the followers of the player, who would be fake followers; that is 16,441,510 of them. These fakes, which broaden his audience, might earn him an additional 50,345 euros on his sponsored posts.
