MEPs are invited on Thursday 04 May 2023 for a plenary session. On the agenda of this one, three points to be examined by the elected representatives of the 9th Legislature.
According to press release No. 1584-23/AN/SGA dated May 2, 2023 signed by President Louis G. VLAVONOU, these are:

1)- Examination of the topical question relating to the drama of Dassa-Zoumê on Sunday, January 29, 2023 ; 2)- Examination of the topical issue relating to the suspension of benefits granted to agents of local authorities and 3)- Continuation of the elections of the other members of the Standing Committees.

According to practice, the ministers concerned by subjects relating to current affairs will come to answer them or may, if they are unable to attend, be represented by some of their colleagues from the government team. Still according to parliamentary practice, in cases of extreme urgency, they may ask the President of the National Assembly to postpone the examination of files for which their answers are awaited by the deputies.
