According to the president of Colombia, Iván Duque, “this is additional support for the most vulnerable families and, especially, facing many of the economic situations that today have global reach”, referring, for example, to the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. in Europe. In this way, the amount will go from 380 thousand to 400 thousand pesos promised.
The president also added that the rule would come into effect from the next payment, the same one that will be made in May 2022. This fee corresponds, in addition to the month in question, to the June payment, since it is delivered bimonthly. Of course, it would set a precedent for what the July modifications will be.
How will the Solidarity Income payments be made for July 2022?
Although this next bimonthly payment corresponding to May and June will reach the more than 4 million favored households already established at the national level, in the next month it will be something different. To the differentiated delivery that will be implemented and of which It will depend on factors such as the number of members in the household and the classification group registered in the Sisben IV.
