| Benedict XVI’s health is not improving

Vatican City: The health condition of former Pope Benedict XVI is not improving. The other day, Pope Francis revealed that Pope Benedict is completely debilitated. He also requested the faithful to pray for his predecessor. Pope Francis visited Benedict XVI. Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni also announced that Pope Benedict’s health condition is bad and is under constant observation by doctors.

Benedict XVI stepped down in 2013 due to health reasons. He is the first pope to resign in 600 years. He is 95 years old and is in retirement in a monastery in the Vatican. He is known as Pope Emeritus. In 2020, Cardinal Mario Gresch of Malta announced that Pope Benedict had lost his voice. Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, a German, came to power as Benedict XVI in April 2005.
