Beneath the Blazing Skies of Gaza: A Descent into Chaos

Gaza – The Palestinian Civil Defense Service confirmed, on Tuesday evening, that the Israeli army committed massacres in areas of the northern Gaza Strip coinciding with the fourth day of its massive attack there, warning of the seriousness of the bad humanitarian conditions resulting from the siege imposed on it.

The Civil Defense added in a statement: “The humanitarian situation in the North Governorate is becoming more dangerous hour after hour after the occupation launched a massive attack on the areas of Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia and Jabalia for the fourth day in a row, imposing a strict siege on them, and preventing the entry of water, food and medicine supplies.”

He continued: “The occupation committed massacres against civilians, claiming dozens of martyrs and hundreds of wounded.”

He explained that the bodies of the martyrs are still dumped in the streets while it is impossible to reach them to retrieve them due to the Israeli targeting of ambulance and civil defense crews.

He pointed out that the army “threatened citizens, who number more than 200,000 people in the areas and neighborhoods of the northern Gaza Strip governorate, to evacuate their homes, committing massacres against civilians to force residents to displace and emigrate.”

He appealed to international institutions to “pressure the occupation to stop the crime of genocide against the population in the northern Gaza Strip governorate, enable medical teams and civil defense to carry out their work, and allow the entry of basic necessities of life.”

Earlier, the Ministry of Health said that the army demanded the “Kamal Adwan, Indonesian, and Al-Awda” hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip to evacuate medical staff and patients, explaining that the army threatened to “kill, destroy, and arrest,” similar to what happened with Al-Shifa Hospital.

On Sunday, the Israeli army announced the start of a military operation in Jabalia; Under the pretext of “preventing the Hamas movement from regaining its power in the region,” hours after the start of a fierce attack on the eastern and western regions of the northern Gaza Strip, the most violent since last May.

Eyewitnesses said that Israeli ground military vehicles arrived in areas northwest of the Gaza Strip.

Earlier Tuesday, the Israeli army warned the Palestinians to evacuate their homes in the town and camp of Jabalia and head south through a “safe corridor,” while the Ministry of Interior and National Security in Gaza warned citizens not to respond to that, considering it “deception and a lie.”

With American support, the Israeli genocidal war in Gaza resulted in more than 139,000 Palestinian deaths and injuries, and more than 10,000 missing persons, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly.

Tel Aviv continues the genocide, ignoring the UN Security Council’s resolution to end it immediately, and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of “genocide” and improve the miserable humanitarian situation in Gaza.
