“Our beloved friend and co-anchor Ana Orsini⁤ passed away last week,” KOLD-TV’s Tyler Butler​ shared on air. “We are devastated by this loss,” added a tearful Carsyn Currier, the morning anchor.

Orsini’s cause of death was determined to be⁤ a brain aneurysm. Her career began in 2018 as an anchor and reporter in Lubbock, Texas. She then spent three years as ‍a morning and ⁢midday anchor in Medford, ​Oregon before joining KOLD-TV in June 2023.

A Passionate Advocate

“Rescue ‌animals were her passion, and if she wasn’t celebrating Fur Baby Friday, she’d be trying to‌ find a new home for a cutie ​in‌ need,” the station shared. Orsini was fondly remembered for her mentorship and her favourite quote: “Let the women do the work.”

“To know Ana was ⁤to LOVE her.She made everyone ‌around her feel so special, heard and understood,” said Currier‌ on facebook. She added, “Whether she was dancing around the set or‍ making us all laugh, everyday with Ana was an adventure.” ⁢
