This Wednesday, on the occasion of THOSE which opened in Las Vegas, props designer Belkin presented a new pair ofwireless earphones. Just like Anker with his brand Soundcore, Belkin indeed offer its own true wireless headphones under the Soundform brand.

If Belkin had already offered entry-level headphones with the Soundform Move at 40 euros, Soundform Move Plus models with wireless charging at 60 euros, more enduring Soundform Rise at 80 euros and more upscale Soundform Freedom at 130 euros, the new headphones are the top of the Belkin basket.

Called only Soundform, without a suffix, Belkin’s latest products offer the props’ most comprehensive technical sheet to date. They are thus in-ear headphones with a button format, without a rod that protrudes from the ear pin. However, they are secured to the ear thanks to small silicone fins which hold them securely to the ear pinna.

But it is especially on the side of sound reproduction and the Bluetooth connection that Belkin hits hard with its headphones. They are thus equipped with an active noise reduction function, but also with dynamic transducers of 12 mm allowing, on paper, a good reproduction of the bass. On the Bluetooth side, Belkin is not only betting on the classics codecs SBC and AAC, but also on aptX HD, a particularly rare codec for wireless headphones. Also rare, the headphones are compatible with multipoint Bluetooth and can therefore be used simultaneously with a smartphone and a laptop. Note also the compatibility with the Find My application on iPhone to easily find the headphones once registered.

Autonomy has not been forgotten since Belkin communicates on the use of its Soundform headphones for eight hours before recharging them. The box allows it to recover 28 additional hours of listening.

Belkin Soundform headphones may have been presented this Wednesday at CES, we will still have to wait before we can buy them. The manufacturer indeed expects availability during the second quarter of 2022 at a price that has not yet been announced.
