Belinda Bencic (WTA 12) experienced terrible disappointment in the first round of Roland-Garros. The Saint-Galloise conceded a mortifying defeat 3-6 6-2 6-4 once morest the Russian Elina Avanesyan (WTA 134), who won her first Grand Slam victory.
