Skies will be sunny once more in most areas on Wednesday. A few medium and high altitude cloud banks from France will sometimes rise over the southern half of the country with the possibility of a few flakes in Gaume at the start of the day, according to forecasts from the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM).

After a very cold morning, temperatures will rise to between -1 and 1°C in the followingnoon. The east to northeast wind will decrease to light to moderate.

Next night will be starry once more and very cold with minimums of -3°C in the west of the country, -4 to -6°C in most regions and locally -9°C in the Hautes Fagnes. The wind will generally be light from east to northeast.

Thursday, the sky will be sunny for most of the day. At the end of the followingnoon and the following night, low clouds will invade the country from the coast. The weather will become foggy with a risk of possibly freezing fog in the interior of the country. A weak north to northeast wind will bring us wetter and slightly less cold currents from the North Sea. The maxima will vary between 0 and 5°C. The following night will also be less cold.

On Friday, the weather will be gray with a significant cover of low clouds, and in places sometimes freezing fog in the morning. A few drops of drizzle are not excluded in the coastal region. In other regions, the weather will generally remain dry. The maxima will be around 0 or -1°C south of the Sambre et Meuse furrow, between 1 and 4°C in most regions and around 6°C by the sea.

On Saturday, gray weather will dominate with occasional light drizzle. Sometimes freezing fog in the Ardennes will reduce visibility in the morning.
