Next week will begin as this one ends: with snow on the heights of the country. The latter will give way to slush in the followingnoon except on the high Ardennes peaks, where it will fall for a good part of the day. An accumulation of 5 to 10 centimeters of fresh snow may therefore first form in Haute Ardenne. At the end of the day, it will also temporarily turn into slush. The thermometer will then indicate up to 3°C in Ardennes. The center of the country will see the maxima oscillate between 5°C and 8°C, while they will reach 9 or 10°C by the sea. The wind will still blow quite strongly on the coast, as well as on the heights.

In the evening and during the first part of the night, the sky will still be very cloudy, with occasional rain or showers. Further snowfall is expected in Haute Ardenne. As a result, the IRM issued a yellow alert for slippery conditions for the provinces of Liège and Luxembourg between 4 a.m. and 10 a.m. Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the weather will be dry in most regions with beautiful sunny periods. South of the Sambre et Meuse furrow, the sky will initially be overcast with still some light snowfall (1 to 2 additional centimeters at most). Already in the morning, this area of precipitation will leave us from the east followed by clearings. On the other hand, showers will affect the coastline throughout the day. The maxima will be between -2 degrees in Hautes Fagnes, +3 degrees in the center and +5 or +6 degrees at sea. The wind will be weak, moderate in the Ardennes in the morning, from the north returning to the southwest.

Wednesday morning, there will be abundant cloudiness with light snowfall in the Ardennes. Elsewhere it will be rain or sleet. Most of the country is affected. Drier and sunnier weather will return from the north but a few (winter) showers may still occur. The maxima will vary between 0 degrees in Hautes Fagnes, 5 degrees in the center and 6 degrees on the coast. The wind will be moderate from west to southwest, on the coast from west to northwest.
