Belgium Weather Forecast: Cold and Cloudy Weekend Ahead

2023-12-01 06:13:00

In the followingnoon, gray weather will persist over a large number of regions and we will probably have to wait until the end of the day for the cloudiness to gradually break up. Only the coast and the south-east of the country might benefit from wider improvements. The weather will be cold with temperatures not exceeding -3°C in the Eastern Cantons, 0 to 1°C in most other regions and 3°C along the French border.

The night from Friday to Saturday will be very cold with more sunny spells, but freezing fog and low clouds will form once more in places. Temperatures will drop to between 0 and -6°C in the western and central part of the country, and between -7 and -9°C south of the Sambre-et-Meuse furrow. The wind will be light from the northeast or from variable directions.

On Saturday, freezing mists and fogs will be quite widespread in the morning. The sun will then reappear in places. The weather will remain dry in most areas, but a few wintry showers might arrive at the coast. The maxima will vary between -5°C in the upper Ardennes and 4°C by the sea. The wind will be light from the southwest or from variable directions.

On Sunday, the sky will be partly to very cloudy. The weather will be dry at first, then the risk of wintry precipitation will increase from the west during the followingnoon or evening. The maximums will be close to 3°C in the center of the country.

Monday will be very cloudy with a risk of precipitation increasing during the day.
