According to the Royal Meteorological Institute, there will be regular rain in the evening and at night, and several Walloon provinces have been placed on yellow alert until tomorrow morning. The weather will become dry in the morning from the north, with lows of 3 to 7ºC. The Institute also issued a yellow rain warning for the provinces of Liège, Namur, and Luxembourg. By Sunday 8 a.m., another 5 to 10 l/m2 of rain is expected in the plain, 10 to 20 l/m2 on the Ardennes relief, and locally 20 to 30 l/m2 on the Hautes-Fagnes. Light rain may still be possible on Sunday, especially south of the Sambre and Meuse furrow, but clearings are expected in the followingnoon. The maximum temperature will oscillate between 5 to 9ºC. The weather is expected to be sunny on Monday, with highs of 5 to 7ºC in the Ardennes and around 9 or 10ºC in the plain. Sunny periods may alternate with cloudy periods on Tuesday. The weather will remain mostly dry on next weekend.

By Sunday 8 a.m., the Institute expects another 5 to 10 l/m2 in the plain, 10 to 20 l/m2 on the Ardennes relief, and locally 20 to 30 l/m2 on the Hautes-Fagnes. To the south of the Sambre and Meuse furrow, quantities of around 25 l/m2 in 24 hours will still be possible locally.
“Very cloudy and often rainy, 10-20 mm until 2 a.m. Sunday, in the upper Ardennes 20-35 mm by Sunday 8 a.m., 5-10 degrees, 3-4 Bf W/NW, by the sea 4-5 NO with gusts up to 50-55 km/h”, explains David Dehenauw on Twitter.
On Sunday, there will first still be a possibility of some light rain, especially south of the Sambre and Meuse furrow. Then, it will be dry with, in the followingnoon, the development of clearings, especially on the northwest. The maxima will oscillate from 5 to 9ºC.
Monday, following the dissipation of the possible morning greyness, the weather will be sunny with highs of 5 to 7ºC in the Ardennes, and around 9 or 10ºC in the plain.
Tuesday, following a start to the day marked by frosts, temperatures will reach values between 4ºC in Hautes-Fagnes and 9ºC on the coast. Sunny periods will alternate with cloudy periods.
Wednesday, the sun will also be generous. At the end of the followingnoon, slightly denser upper sails might however drift over the west of the country. The morning will start with frosts in most regions but, during the day, temperatures will reach values between 6 and 8ºC on the relief of the Ardennes, and around 11ºC in the center and on the coast.
Thursday and Friday, the situation will change little. Next weekend, the weather will remain mostly dry, although more cloudy fields are expected. The maximum will be between 8 and 12ºC.
