A Belgian tourist has been arrested in Malta for sharing a sex video of his ex-girlfriend with his colleagues and friends at a hotel. The victim notified the police. Morgan HS (25), a security guard from Antwerp, was arrested immediately.
Several Maltese media wrote that the Antwerp security guard had only come to Malta for three days. During this period, he shared a sex video of his ex-girlfriend from his hotel. The latter’s colleagues and quite a few friends, among others, saw the sequence via Instagram.
The woman notified the police and Morgan HS (25) was arrested at his hotel in Msida, a port town in Malta. During his interview with police, the man admitted that “it was not a smart thing to do.” He was cooperative and apologized in his statement.
Fine of 1,000 euros
His lawyer said there was “a whole saga” going on between the accused and the victim. However, the Belgian, who did not yet have a criminal record in Malta, was sentenced to a fine of 1,000 euros, a two-year suspended prison sentence and a ban on approaching the victim.
