Tradition turned upside down. The Belgian royal family was unable to organize its traditional Christmas concert this year due to renovation work at the Royal Palace in Brussels. This December 19, a reception with exceptional Belgians took place to replace it.

Concert or not, King Philippe, Queen Mathilde, Crown Princess Élisabeth, Prince Emmanuel and Princess Éléonore all dressed up to the nines this Tuesday evening. The Queen of the Belgians opted for a golden dress by Belgian designer Dries Van Noten and the Duchess of Brabant wore a blue dress by the Reiss brand. However, Prince Gabriel was missing, his school holidays having not yet started.
