This Thursday, the trial of Randy, 37, and Bastiaan, 43, took place in La Rochelle, where the two Belgians were arrested with 105,000 euros in cash as they were heading to Malaga. The two men, currently in prison in Belgium, are on trial for undeclared transfer of sums of more than 10,000 euros and money laundering, reports Sud Ouest.

It was on December 11, 2019 that Randy was checked by La Rochelle customs in an Audi A7. While customs find 105,000 euros in cash in the vehicle, the man claims that he is going to Spain to buy a Ferrari 330 GT from his friend Bastiaan.

The investigation revealed that the duo was involved in the criminal world and that the money probably came from drug trafficking. Randy and Bastiaan were given a six-month suspended prison sentence and a fine of 50,000 euros, in addition to the seizure of 105,000 euros.
