The rehabilitation of the E42 motorway which began Tuesday followingnoon near the Daussoulx interchange, on the roads to Mons, was completed around midnight, Sofico reported Wednesday morning. Traffic blocked on the E40 in Aalter

Farmers blocked all entrances and exits to the motorway complex in Aalter, on the E40, in both directions on Wednesday morning, the federal police reported on their website. The Flemish Traffic Center confirms that farmers will gather on Wednesday morning at the Aalter and Wetteren complexes. It is advisable to avoid the area. The farmers’ actions will also disrupt De Lijn services in West Flanders and East Flanders on Wednesday.
