Belcar – Cédric Wauters on pole at the 24 Hours of Zolder

Cédric Wauters (Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo) took pole position at the 24 Hours of Zolder on Thursday evening. All 35 cars were entitled to a flying lap on Thursday to determine the order of the starting grid. Cédric Wauters (TotaalPlan Racing) was the fastest in 1:28.797, beating the Audi R8 LMS PK Carsport of official Audi driver Dries Vanthoor by 5 thousandths. Then we find the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup RED Ant Racing of former Dutch rallyman Kevin Abbring in 1:31.542 and Sam Dejonghe in 1:31.563. Nico Verdonck (Porsche 992 Belgium Racing) closed the top 5 in 1:31:634. In the other categories, the poles went to the Porsche Cayman GT4 of Arthur Peters in GTB, to the BMW M2 CS of Jarno D’Hauw in TA and to the BMW E90 325i of Vincent Convents in GT.
