At the invitation of the Vivre à Bélaye association, Dominique Desmons will present this Sunday, February 12, in the village hall of Bélaye at 4 p.m., his show entitled “My beautiful castanets”, a humorous singing tour. We need to laugh in this difficult time, Dominique is an excellent remedy for this sadness; for this he has many strings to his bow, moving effortlessly from lyric to comic song.
After studying singing, drama and musical training at the National Conservatory of Limoges, he sang in the choirs of the “grand theatre”. As a soloist, he interprets the French melody, the lied and participates in numerous concerts of sacred music. At the same time, he devoted himself to song, cabaret and music hall, founding the Rabetaud-Desmons duo sponsored by the Jacques brothers. Without ever abandoning French song, he then returned to the Opéra-comique where he held the roles of tenor bouffe in numerous operettas. This is how he takes part each year in the Offenbach festival in Bruniquel (Tarn-et-Garonne). Fervent defender of French song, pianist, author, composer, choirmaster, he also devotes a large part of his activity to teaching vocal technique and interpretation. It is mainly in the comic song, even sometimes finely naughty, that he will perform. He will offer a singing tour as he has the secret and you have to run fast to listen to this talented singer with overflowing humorous creativity.
Entrance fee: €12 for members: €10 for those under 18: €5. Information and reservations on 06 12 15 02 76, or by email: [email protected]. A show that feels good.
