[14日 ロイター] – Belarusian President Lukashenko on Wednesday warned Ukraine and the West not to hunt down ally Russia.

According to an excerpt from an interview with US NBC reported by the Belarusian state news agency, Lukashenko said: “The most important thing is not to put your interlocutor, even an adversary, in a corner. Don’t cross the red line in the world,” he said.

There is growing concern in the West that Russian President Vladimir Putin will use nuclear weapons.

“When it comes to nuclear weapons, every weapon is made for something,” Lukashenko said. “Russia can use all kinds of weapons if necessary,” he said.
